[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text].[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]\u201cGallo Rojo \u201c<\/strong> has been awarded as the best film of the Calella Film Festival in the Low Budget section<\/strong><\/b> -with a budget of less than one million euros- and \u201dUna mujer italiana<\/strong><\/b> \u201c has won the prize for best film in the Creative Rosebud section<\/strong><\/b>, with no budget limit.<\/p>\n

They were considered the best films of the edition, although “The King of Spades<\/strong><\/b> \u201d was the only one to win two awards: Best Actor for Joshua Glenister and Best Director for Matthew Fearney, both in the Low Budget section.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

The festival’s award, the Llopa, went to the Catalan actress N\u00faria Prims<\/strong><\/b>, one of the protagonists of the Catalan film \u201cUn sol radiant\u201d<\/strong><\/b>. It was born as a final project of six students of Audiovisual Communication of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, but it has made a place in the world of Catalan cinema with awards such as the Talents of the festival A Film or the best feature film at the International Film Festival in Catalan.<\/p>\n

The awards ceremony closed the ninth edition of the Calella Film Festival, dedicated to \u201cStar Wars\u201d and bringing to Calella the characters of one of the science fiction series with more followers around the world.<\/p>\n

      Sant Pol and Arenys, also theirs of the festival<\/strong><\/b><\/h4>\n

      In addition to the Sala Mozart, the Calella Film Festival has also held screenings in neighboring towns such as Sant Pol, at the Akira Cine Club<\/strong><\/b>, and at the Teatre Principal of Arenys de Mar.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n
