On May 2018 he premiered his last television series as director: <em>La catedral del Mar<\/em> based on the literary success of Ildefonso Falcones, the book set in the fourteenth century, during the construction of the Cathedral of Santa Mar\u00eda del Mar.<\/p>\n<p>Antena 3 and Televisi\u00f3n de Catalu\u00f1a broadcast with audience successes. Antena 3 achieved almost 4 million viewers with the first episode, while TV3 reached 635,000 viewers, a 28.3% share, with its premiere of the series. The eight chapters of <em>La Catedral del Mar<\/em> were set in the Gothic quarter of Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p>Jordi Frades began on television on TV3, <strong>directing episodes of the soap opera<\/strong> <em>Poblenou<\/em>. He also participated in other series such as: <em>Oh, Espanya!<\/em> (1996-1997), <em>El joc de viure<\/em> (1997), <em>Estaci\u00f3 d&#8217;enlla\u00e7<\/em> (1994-1999), <em>La mem\u00f2ria dels Cargols<\/em> (1999), <em>Crims<\/em> (2000), <em>Jet Lag<\/em> (2001-2003) and <em>El cor de la ciutat<\/em> (2005-2007).<\/p>\n<p><strong>He was successful on Spanish Television<\/strong> with the historical series <em>Isabel<\/em> (2011-2014), which he directed. In February 2016, his film, <em>La corona partida<\/em>, was released. It is a sequel to the series <em>Isabel<\/em> and a prequel to the series <em>Carlos, rey emperador<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>He has also directed<\/strong> <em>Matadero<\/em> for Antena 3 and that can currently be seen on Amazon Prime.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] [\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;7032&#8243;
