He debuted as a <strong>playwright<\/strong> in 1997 with <em><strong>Zowie<\/strong><\/em> (XXV Premi Ciutat d&#8217;Alcoi). He has also written, among others, <em>Refugiats, New Order<\/em>, <em>Sacrifici<\/em>, <em>Blues<\/em>, <em>Llum de Gu\u00e0rdia (Ghost light), <\/em>the book of the family opera <em>La Cuina de Rossini <\/em>and <em>Am\u00e8rica<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>He has<\/strong> also <strong>written the plays<\/strong> <em>Tim\u00f3 d&#8217;Atenes<\/em> by W. Shakespeare, <em>Don Joan<\/em> by Moli\u00e8re,<em>Instruccions per fer-se feixista <\/em>by Michela Murgia and <em>Carrer Robadors <\/em>by Mathias Enard, winner of the Max Prize for the best adaptation.<\/p>\n<p>As a <strong>scriptwriter, he has worked on series such as <\/strong><em><strong>Plats Bruts, Jet Lag, Lo Cartany\u00e0, L&#8217;Un per l&#8217;altre, Porca Mis\u00e8ria, La Sagrada Fam\u00edlia, La Riera<\/strong><\/em><strong> i <\/strong><em><strong>Jo, mai mai<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>He teaches courses and workshops<\/strong> at the Obrador de la Sala Beckett, at the Escola Superior de Cinema de Catalunya ESCAC, at Showrunners, and also at master&#8217;s degree courses at the Universitat Ram\u00f3n Llull, the UAB and the UPF.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;10802&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text] Sergi Pompermayer Sergi Pompermayer (Barcelona 1967) has a degree in veterinary medicine and is studying drama at the Col-legi del Teatre de Barcelona.
