He was part of the founding team.<\/p>\n<p>He has been awarded as a film director with the feature films <em>321 d\u00edas en M\u00edchigan <\/em>(2014), <em>Resort Para\u00edso<\/em> (2017), <em>Maniac Tales<\/em> (2017) and <em>La Mancha Negra<\/em> (2021). Winner of the Biznaga de Plata and the Best New Director award at the ASECAN awards (the Andalusian film awards). His previous career as a short filmmaker stands out with titles such as <em>TR3S RAZONES<\/em> (short film shot at the Malaga Penitentiary Center in Alhaur\u00edn de la Torre), <em>Napoleon,<\/em> <em>La Muerte en un Bolsillo<\/em>, <em>Yalecu<\/em> o <em>Samsa<\/em> (adaptation of Kafka&#8217;s <em>The Metamorphosis<\/em>). With these titles he won four RTVA awards, five awards from the Malaga Film Festival and more than 80 national and international awards.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, it won the prestigious LORCA Award from the Granada International Film Festival for Best Andalusian Short Film 2022 for <em>Yalecu<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, he directs his own teaching project in Malaga: STUDIO ATRALLA, a school where he writes and directs the students&#8217; work.<\/p>\n<p>In 2023 he obtained the Gold Medal from the Malacitana Academy of Arts and Letters.<\/p>\n<p>Two of his feature films have been awarded at the Calella Film Festival: <em>Resort Para\u00edso<\/em> won the Best Actress award in 2018 for Virginia DeMorata and in 2021 he won the Best Director award for <em>La Mancha Negra.<\/em>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text] [\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;9921&#8243;
